Capture the Flag (CTF) Competitions

I competed in the first two CyberMadness Capture the Flag competitions during my time at Century High School, and now I have competed for BSC in the last five seasons of the National Cyber League CTF competition, bringing home a top player status four times. I really enjoy challenging myself with the advanced challenges NCL provides as a way of learning new things about Cybersecurity. I also think competing in CTFs helps to apply the things I am learning in class to real world scenarios.

CyberClub

I am a participating member of the BSC CyberClub and have attended every single meeting during my time at the college. I appreciate the cool opportunities the club has given me to meet new people within the industry and learn what working in the industry is like. I have also used the time with the club to help others and coach them to be better prepared for NCL competition.

Work Experience

I currently work as a Tutor at Bismarck State College where I primarily help students with Cybersecurity related assignments. This experience has given me a greater aptitude in being able to troubleshoot problems, as well as being able to teach the students what went wrong and why. I was also an intern at NDIT, helping to conduct Cybersecurity Maturity Assesments with various state agencies in order to improve the overall security efficacy of the state government.
